The Danish company Netto which pulled out of the UK in 2010 is making a comeback in partnership with Sainsbury 's. With the rise of Aldi and Lidi discount stores which have hit the profits of Tesco and Sainsbury's and other chains hard in recent years so Sainsbury's have hatch a plan with Nettos to hit back its understood the new Netto stores will not have Sainsbury's own brand stock but is putting the money into building new Nettos stores in northern England a store has already opened at Leeds and one is planned for Sheffield. I wounder if Chesterfield might get a new store would be great if it did used to like Nettos own brand whisky :) fingers crossed.

I visited the one at Alfreton/Somercoates years ago and did try some of their own brands but didn't really like them so stopped going.
Not a whisky fan so not tried that.
They would bring some competition to the other two budget shops - so yes it would be interesting to see if they come our way and we may well have one ^-^ ^-^ ^-^ ^-^ ^-^ ironsky - that may be interesting too ;)

We don't tell people what they can and can't post on here (y)
We might have to move or moderate posts at times, though we'd sooner leave everything alone :)
