Title: That overweight Tory bloke from Tibshelf :-)
Post by: Fly on November 11, 2014, 09:52:42 PM
Tries to make out he's from Chesterfield by posting on another local forum under an alternative confusing name.
Is he right to post under the name he does in this town. If you don't know who I mean, PM me :-)

Interesting one.
For example you yourself Fly always make it perfectly clear when posting about Chesterfield that although you make your living here a lot of the time, you don't live here and as such are no affected by decisions made by the council or indeed o occasions the MP.

Now if someone is in the habit of posting on forums and commenting on local councils without making it perfectly clear that they themselves don't actually suffer (or indeed benefit) from any of those decisions then yes I would consider that wrong. Especially if that person does hide behind the anonimity of a forum name such as Town Resident or Chesterfield Dweller.

Tough one, I suspect politics is behide this with a General Election on the horizon and the Internet is a good platform for parties to belittle each other and public forums are a perfect place to do it. I don't know who this 'guy from Tibshelf ' is nor interested to know but if he lives and represents that area he should only be commenting on his own area but its getting near to a major election so expect some mud slinging.
