Can there be ever peace between the Islamic and Christian worlds ? We watch on our TV the horrors melted out by the few mainly the so called Islamic State' who seem to have there own version of Allah and Koran which in turn causes problems for Muslims who follow there faith in a peaceful manner. The Christian world is now under the threat of terrorism and so invades what it sees as problem ' counties thousands get killed one threat taken out another replaces it we seem to be going in circles they doesn't to be any answers and so the madness and killing continues.

I struggle to understand sometimes the ideology of Islam. Every time there is a terrorist attack it is claimed in the name of Allah. Yet the 'moderates' claim that Allah is all about peace and that these acts shouldn't be done in his name.

Allah says love things equally but Islamic State says cut the heads off fellow Muslims now they have shot themselves in the foot. Me thinks they don't do what they pearch.

There are also plenty of examples of different religions getting on perfectly well together (eg "Jewish voice for peace condemning" the persecution of the predominantly Muslim Palestinians.
Also other conflicts within Christian religions from the Middle Ages in Britain to Northern Ireland at the end of the last century.
If people hadn't invented religion they would have to find a different reason to fight

Perhaps religion was invented so we can knock hell out of one another and pass the time on a bit. Can see this lasting while man trods the Earth looking for the next war to play the martyr.

Religion was invented to keep us all on the straight and narrow for fear of eternal penance. Trouble is that now too many different religions are vying for the position of the one with the 'right' answer
