Some things are inevitable...
After a long running battle with the worst person I have ever met on a forum - it is a relief not to have to go into battle with him every time he kicks off.
Its a shame that the Admin and senior Mod did not reply to my messaging - but they will get the forum they deserve.
I could feel it coming, so I decided to go out in style - something he knows very little about, because you can't buy it.

Doesnt it defeat the object of a forum if you cant have your view.
I have a friend on Facebook that basically thinks if your opinion is different to his, you're wrong.

It's difficult to decide what is opinion and what is wrong.
Take for example Ironsky2, I mentioned that his muslim comment wasn't really PC. 'In my opinion'.
He's stopped posting on here. His choice. His account is still open.
It would appear that Pete got a ban from CF cos someone didn't like his opinions or views.
Never right. Pete was one of the longest standing members on there.
Bit lame actually by the CF admin . . . .

Clearly, it's no longer a "Forum" in its strictest sense. It's about debate on whatever subject.
Personal hatred should be kept out of it, between contributors. Personal differences however enrich a forum.
All seems a bit petty to me. I don't miss the CF site to be honest although I'm still a member.
I'm sure Pete will get over it :P

A number of us left CF when it became clear that a view contrary to those held by the moderators was not going to be tolerated and neither was debate on why people were being banned or having their posts moderated. Except for one thread where myself and Mycul were taking the p**s to upset Dawn, I've never been back. I have in the past mentioned my disquiet privately to other members of this forum that their participation and arguing over at CF has made it look like the busier forum which seemed to defeat the object of us being here. From what I can gather CF is still moderated by people who believe they have the only correct opinion. Personally I feel well out of it and hope now that everyone else who might still feel like posting over there figures the same

I asked for my 'Fly' account to be deleted. Which it was.
Then I signed up again under a new psuedonym, 'IDontBelieveIt', but I never hid my true identity. It's me 8)
Shame that some people might try to get away with multiple accounts to talk to themselves :-)

I'm solely dedicated to the friends and forum members I have on this forum. I feel great being a friend to you all.

Sorry Pete. I feel you've been let down by a bunch of forum monsters. The word 'friend' doesn't seem to be in their vocab !!

I found the CF and joined but didn't feel really comfortable on there, the attitude of some wasn't for me.
I then found and joined this site and felt it was somewhere I could join in and actually 'enjoy'
One of the CF members was also a member on here, and obviously didn't like the fact that I had joined this forum - had a go at me on here, can't remember the whole thing now but it went something like 'I bet you are disabled and on benefits!!!
Charming!! NOT!!
As members know I am NOT disabled and have never been on benefits in my life - just shows the type of person that forum can attract - although I hasten to add I am sure there are some decent people who post over there.
