Here's the link for our postcode.
Quick run to the supermarkets and empty the shelves!
Hope it changes :(

Keep your fingers crossed that they've got it wrong OC. I can't be bothered to go and do a shop - we've got bread, we've got jam. Might even have some 'scratchit' somewhere. Yum - bread n scratchit. Can't go wrong ;)
-
It can go do one. 'Some' of us have to go to work 8)
-
Peak 107 have backed up the weather forecast.
Gerty your bread and scratch it made me think of my father who used to offer visitors a cup of tea in a jam jar and bread and jam !! :))
-
Peak107 are probably reporting 2010's weather.
They will be reporting the same weather over the group's entire UK network.
Stick with the BBC and your postcode. Much more reliable ;)
-
That's where I got the info from Fly - ;)
Had an update from Derbyshire as well :-?
Being old and retired has it's bonuses ;)
ps - you have 3 hours to raid the supermarkets before it starts :-?

A lot of school closures today, although it doesn't look too bad out there??
I won't be taking daughter to her weekly center, wheelchairs and snow don't go well together!
-
Better stack up with your cans Pete - it's given more snow for us Wed/Thurs !
-
Scaremongering or not?

Dunno maybe -----
Our post code is currently giving heavy snow for Thursday afternoon - followed by light rain - then light snow ??
We can only wait and see !
-
All this makes me laugh it's January you can expect snow hardly going to get a heatwave are we?
Be lovely if we did ;)
-
It's snowed in summer before, why not a heatwave in January ? (y)
-
I can stand hot weather but not the cold.
Reckon I should have been born in the Caribbean ;)
-
Apparently snow on the way this week too. Go away!
-
It's a few years ago now but the weather was good enough in February to play golf up at Stanedge in short sleeve shirts. Only lasted a few days though
-
Feb 18th. Sat at Poolsbrook ponds. Our_lass was fishing. Me sunning it (y)
Think I've got a photo or two somewhere :-)
-
I remember a couple of years ago where we had really warm weather for about a week, talking like no coat weather then the week after we had snow.
Little un was in nursery at the time to me thats a tad strange especially as people were dressed for warmer weather then had to bring out the snow boots again
-
Took the bus into town today and was surprised to see snow/ice on roads/pavements.
Generally we have a bucket load and go into town where there is none!
Flybynight - I did look to see if you were parked up but only one taxi there, it 'may' have been Margaret, but wasn't sure.
