Title: NHS Contract Awarded To Private Firm Despite Rival Bid Being “£7m Cheaper"
Post by: Pete on January 31, 2015, 02:32:21 PM
Private company Alliance Medical beat an NHS bid to win a contract to provide cancer scan services across the North West of England.

Conservative MP Malcolm Rifkind sits on the board of the private bidder.

So, not trying to save the country money, but prepared to spent £7m of hard earned taxpayers money so one of them can benefit from it. Have they no shame?
