Title: Cracking little sculptures.

This pair of gates were brought to my attention recently. They are the other side of the railway lines, over the footbridge on Brimington Rd which is just before where Arnold Lavers was.
Lots of history of Tapton House, Stephenson's Rocket, coal mining, and head stocks.
