I've picked a small laptop up from Tesco's Clay Cross today £99.00. I also took out a two year warranty for drops and spills @ £19.95.
If it only lasts 2 years at that price it will be better than the £450.00 one that lasted 18th months ( HP model ) !!
End of line thingy.
It's an Acer C720Chromebook ( whatever that is :-[ )
I queried that it had access features as daughters partially sighted so I need to set that up.
14 days no quibble take it back if it's not suitable.

You may need to ask at the desk, as we spotted a card with it on advertising it on one of the end shelves - but no laptop on view.
Daughter only wants a basic one as well.
I've set it up for her, put a large black pointer arrow on and increased the font.
It's on google and I've just put facebook in her book marks - easy!
You will need a Wifi router.
Tell you what niche if she doesn't like it - I'll have it, it'll be ok for me to use in the lounge ;)

Sorry about that niche, maybe daughters was the last one as they did get it from the store room.
Will keep my eyes open for anymore cropping up.
