Title: Soulville Steak House
Post by: Old Cruser on April 18, 2015, 09:10:41 PM
We have been for a meal today to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
It's the first time we have been and thought it was lovely.
£64.00 for 2x3 course meals plus 2 large Pinot's, we didn't think that was bad at all.
I couldn't eat all the main course but the steak was beautiful and I certainly ate all of that!

My son went there with one of his old schoolgirl pals this week and he said it was good too, but Galleon Steakhouse just edged it in his opinion.
The Bar space in the Galleon takes up too much space in my opinion - smaller bar equals more tables & food sold, more bums on seats therefore less cramped.
Price-wise I don't think there's much in them TBH.

I never think of going to The Galleon, so I might have to give it a try sometime soon .  I've been to Soulville many times and have had a great meal each time.  I like the music too.  :)

The music as well as the pasta is one of the reasons I like Frankie and Bennies

Are Frankie and Benny's having a refurb? Noticed the green striped window awnings have gone and most of the lettering on the outside too, and it seems to be surrounded by steel fencing.
