Title: Ever heard of Hockley. In Bolsover ??
Post by: Fly on April 24, 2015, 08:52:39 PM
Came across this old picture described as Hockley, Bolsover Village. I sort of recognised it straight away, but some of it was very confusing. Buildings, perspective etc.

Here's a more 'see-able' view of the same area.

These are great pictures, Fly.  I've never heard of a Hockley in Bolsover, but I don't originate from this end of the area anyway, so its  not that likely.  Have you Facebooked Mick Shannon? He might know.

The second picture did it for me Gerty  :)
Plus it states 'Craggs'. Another name for the area below Hilltop  ;)
