Title: The Somme

Not about Chesterfield I know but many from Derbyshire fought here.
If anyone is interested just ask and I will post paperwork of a historians visit and  account of this battle with pictures as it is today.

I gave all the above information to the Tupton Local History Society awhile ago and some has taken the time to set out the information.
I reckon they have made a brilliant job of it.
I had to just send the link as I think they have put a copyright on it.

I wasn't sure if included the write up of the Somme Pete, so played safe and just sent you my stuff and just a link to their site.
I don't mind you sharing any of the information I have posted on here though - except for posts with my age in  :P
