Any plans to fast track Steve Brunt into the mayoralty?

That may have been the case but the talk (not official) seems to be that Barry Bingham will get it haveng just survived in a 3 way split ward

I would have thought Steve Brunt deserves it given that he was about 3 weeks away from being Mayor when he was voted off.

Aware of that but he's here for 4 years and it's some years since he was a councillor, may be best to settle into council business for a year
