Title: bedding Plants
Post by: Old Cruser on May 20, 2015, 05:47:24 PM
Anyone got theirs in yet?

I bought some off the Chesterfield market last week and also some from Tansley Garden Centre, but it's been a bit cold to put them out so they are sat sitting in the porch waiting for this chilly wind to go away and  phoebe sunshine to warm up.

Put mine in about ten days ago.I have got provision just in case we have a frost.Luckily I put slug pellets down  as they had tried to attack them during the first night and failed miserably.

I made a start this afternoon but need more peat to finish them off.
I generally scatter a few pellets around my plants umpire or they would never survive.

I've also tidied some bushes up.
I'm putting more perennials in to make life a bit easier.

Fly I've never heard of those Tomato's, have you a picture of them?

We bought more Peat today 2 x £5.99 from Bargain Buys next to Tesco in Clay Cross.
We struggled to pick them up between us  :-? - oh the joys of old age.  ;D

My planting will resume tomorrow if the weathers ok  ;)
