Title: Mobile Phone
Post by: Old Cruser on August 07, 2015, 04:50:05 PM
Daughter changed from Orange to E.E. and is on contract.
Problems with signal/ mast going down.
This isn't good for her as she needs her mobile for back up to landline.

Today she's been into Orange shop in Chesterfield - disinterested assistants.
Daughter would have ideally preferred to have changed back to Orange as E.E  are part of Orange, obviously that's not going to happen without a fee.

Daughter not impressed or happy and she seems to think some other mobile companies may 'buy her out' of the contract?

Any help/ advice on this please.

I would have thought that EE,orange & T mobile all used the same masts, as they are the  same company ?
Not been on contract for years, don't see the need for a contract when i  have so many options on giffgaff( works on O2 network).., and free giffgaff to giffgaff calls  :)!

I've just signed a years contract with O2, I was on PayG with them.
The money we will save using the free minutes on the mobile instead of the landline in the house was a no brainer LOL.
Still probably a cheaper option out there, but for now we're happy  :)
