Title: Brampton Manor
Post by: Old Cruser on September 07, 2015, 04:35:36 PM
We used the Manor at Brampton to host daughters 40th birthday.
Lovely venue with yummy buffet.
We had the whole place to ourselves and a Private Party sign was put up by the Manor staff.
Lovely place with plenty of parking

This is the room where the buffet hot/cold was laid out, I had the middle tables taken out as we had three wheelchair users so i wanted plenty of room for moving around.
This is where the Sunday Carvery is also laid out.

The Bar area, again I had some of the tables taken away as the dance floor was in here.
I had a Disco at the far end and The Buddies Live Band at the other.
Not the best of photographs though.

Obviously the Conservatory where they have comfy seating on both sides.
As you will notice there is a ramp put down for wheelchair access.
One set of chairs were removed as i wanted some tables to put the Post Box on plus a guest book and the favourite was a folder I had put together with photo's of most of the guests from earlier years.
I also put up a large board with some photographs on of my daughter from a baby and over the years along with a selection of photographs from both sides of the family, that also brought a lot of interest.

I didn't want a large hall as daughter always struggles to get around plus I didn't want the hassle of sweeping up at midnight!!
Another reason I chose this type of venue was - many of our family and friends are now getting older and enjoy music/dancing but don't like the loud music and disco lights.

What this place offered was a room for those who wanted to be right in the middle of it all and two other rooms  where the music wasn't so loud and no disco lights ( isn't growing old wonderful  ;) )

We  had the whole place to ourselves for the night.
