Title: Dementia
Post by: who can tell on March 05, 2016, 10:03:23 PM
People are living longer than ever before old age is might to be the last golden age before the final farewell. I have one last grandparent who starting with Dementia a once pround woman is reduced to erratic behaviour time has no meaning family are strangers. Getting care is a thankless task family are meet with brickwalks in short left to it. When I visit I'm meet with bags of rubbish containing clothing much of it new freshly brought food that my gran forgot she has  bought  items left on the floor it's just another day for a Dementia suffer. In the past people seldom lived to enjoy retirement I'm starting to think their the lucky ones were living too long. I'm starting to think Blondes song 'Die young stay pretty has a melconic meaning and truthfulness more than we realised.
