Title: Madonna greatest female singer ever?

My daughter has found my Madonna sash and is driving us up the wall with ' Like A Virgin' played to the point where we know the lyrics before Madonna sings them. I think Madonna's best album was Ray of Light released in 1998 and Music released 2000. Madonna now the grand old age of 57 and still churns out albums IV got vsions of a 70 year old women jumping upand down on stage .

Try Aretha Franklin.
In October 2014 Franklin became the first woman to have 100 songs on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Not bad for a lady born in 1942.

Or perhaps Tina Turner born 1939.

I don't think she is the greatest female singer ever.
Nothing to do with her singing but when she was a  trollop, think may have mellowed now though  ::)
Not my cup pf tea at all

I forgot to say that I much prefer watching Dorian in Birds of a Feather singing 'Like a Virgin' -  ;)

I didn't realise 'Madonna' and 'sing' could fit in the same sentence  :D

 :)) Just noticed I should have put when she was 'young' she was a trollop ahhh the joys of being old

Hate to disappoint my daughter but her lastest album tuly bad, Ray of Light was her best  . Her latest album contained reference to glue sniffing not really what you want your daughter to hear.
