In the DT today it says that for a five day period between 3 May and 17 June the road between Jawbones Hill and  the Wingerworth turn off is going to be surfaced dressed.
A maximum of 30mph throughout and 10mph whilst under convoy.Its bad enough as it is on that road at any time I   shall definitely avoid.

I believe it's going to be very soon, maybe even the next few days. They were setting up the signs this morning, and the road surface eating machines are in situ !

Oh flipping heck! Thanks for that Umpire. They are already working on the Derby Road, at the top of Mill Lane. Traffic lights in place yesterday. I have to go to Newbold again today so Wingerworth will be my detour !
