Just recently in the Derbyshire and Sheffield we have seen a spate of shootings . One took place in the Peak District at the Fox House pub luckily no one was hurt and over the border at Sheffield on the same day ( 3rd May) a man got on a First bus with a gun and a eight inch knife unfortunately a man was injured and left others traumatised by the event. Shootings are becoming more common at Sheffield along with knife crime its only a matter of time before it arrives in Chesterfield and surrounding areas . Not local but Iv read that a guy pulled out a gun over a car parking space its now gone beyond reason and with this growing trend will get worse . How do stop this , can we stop this gun culture ?

Most buses have CCTv - maybe that's the way forward to ensuring a conviction takes place thus producing a deterrent. As for Sheffield I don't know the answer. Gun crime is actually very minimal in the UK yet still worrying.
At least the majority of these people get caught & brought to Justice.
