A Chesterfield Taxi Driver has been fined for smoking in his vehicle.
It's their car - or whoever they work for I suppose but ----
I understand it's not allowed but how many people would it really bother??
-
A non smoker maybe that as never smoked ,I used to smoke so it does not bother me either way ,buts is the law now , same in company vehicles and I think you cant smoke in your own car if you carry children but not sure.

I couldn't care less if someone smokes in their car but would if I was a passenger I don't smoke and paying for the journey and traveling in a smoke filled taxi.

What bit of it's illegal, don't do it, don't they get.

Well second time , I would have learned not to do after the first fine, what's the 6 points on his taxi licence is it separate to his driving licence Fly ?.

Yes Handy. The council run their own points system for drivers and owners of taxi cabs/companies.
I think you're allowed up to 15 points, then you have to attend a regulatory committee meeting.
