My Dad is thinking of buying a bungalow up their and moving from Newbold as Mum is struggling with the stairs. Is the park a retirement place and what is the area like is their easy access to public transport ?

I have friends who live on there It's in a quiet area off the Queen Victoria Road, has a coded barrier for vehicle access in.
My friends sold their home as it was no longer suitable and adaptations were not forthcoming very fast.
Anyway theirs is a two bedroom one on suite bathroom and a second bathroom.
Small dining room.
Fitted kitchen.
Large lounge.
Small garden area around it.
Both now getting on in years and disabled they love it.
There is also some kind of club on there, run by 'I think' residents, where they go out for lunch in a group - so making friends.
Bus stops to the right or left once out and onto Queen Victoria Road.
About every 10 minutes I think ( not Sunday )
Hair Dressers across the road on Q V Road.
New Inn pub on Q V Road currently serves meals.
Shops a bit further into the village.
Corner Stone Cafe
Chemist.
Grocery /Post office
Chippy
Hope this helps.
As a by the way I was actually born in a house to the right of the small road leading up to the park. Our house had a access via a hole in the hedge onto the large field at the back ;)
