Title: York House pub to open on 26th August ( former Abacus bar)

York House pub on St.Mary's Gate is set to open on the 26th August as a Artesian pub with the main focus on food and one off foods and drinks. The Abacus closed in January 2016 after the owners went into receivership . Should be an interesting to see how this works out.

Not yet - scaffolding around it partly today and windows at ground level covered by paper on the inside - so you can't see inside. New "York House" sign being installed on the outside. (y)

DO NOT use up all the fine dry weather - we are there soon  ;)

The last time we visited we found Barley Hall tucked away down a side street - very interesting  :)
