How long is a piece of string ?
Everyone will have a different answer. We could argue the toss all day about what is acceptable or not.
Look at Facebook for example. Beheading videos are allowed. But boob shots aren't.
Cock in a sock photos were allowed, but my mates shot got removed because he'd got a daffodil between his arse cheeks LOL :))

My daughter uses Facebook its on the child setting. I find it concerning if that was turned off she could view beheading videos not the sort of thing a 12 year old child should see hate to think how it would effect her. I do agree their should be censorship but it does differ between sities should their be a common goal on censorship .

For children there is a monitoring option these days which I used.
It will block sites which are adult only.
I set up several accounts for different children all with their own passwords which only the child and myself knew - if they changed the password i could still get onto their site as the administrator - parents need to take more responsibility !
I think it is probably very difficult to monitor what anyone is putting around the net as it is an 'open network' Millions will be using it - how does anyone control that?

Interesting question. As far as I know we are free to browse what we want.Whatever grotty insatiable sites.
However we are unquestionably monitored for "interesting" words.
So long as you behave yourself don't expect the armed police any time now.
Sorry - got to go - knock at door with blue flashing lights MD

I reckon some of the undesirable sites should have charge EVERYTIME a person wants to log into it and the money sent to charity.
