Title: Street Lighting

In Newbold we have just had our lighting changed to the new LED bulbs,The  streets are now so dark unless you are directly underneath the lamp that I fear that muggers etc. will be rubbing their hands.
Already one of my neighbours  has had their car broke into even though they have  cameras covering it.Apparently the images are so dark there is no chance of the culprit being identified.
It is being rolled out over all Derbyshire and I can see there being problems.

Prime example of:
A. New technology, less energy used. Useless object !
B. Gov cutting corners to use money to build HS2 etc for example !
