Title: Lanes for texting pedestrians
Post by: Sorastro on August 26, 2019, 10:22:52 AM
Well.....I don't know about you but I can't get my head round this one.

Everyone knows how pig ignorant people {who look at their phones when walking} are. Instead of MAKING them watch where they are going they are actively encouraging them to be even MORE unaware, and ignorant, and everyone is expected to "get out of the way".
What's next.... lanes for drunks, left handed people, people with terminal B.O. where's it going to end?
{Actually the last one is maybe not such a bad idea}
It's the same as that cartoon I saw a couple of weeks ago,
An old man is stood at a pelican crossing with two youngsters looking down at their phones, he turns to them and says "We can go now"

Life was so much easier when the only form of mobile phone was a piece of string and two baked bean cans!

Just think how much fun you could have with, say, a broom handle, or a length of washing line.

It would be worth the trouble you'd get into, just to film it for Youtube... :-)
