Title: Tesco breaks its own covid rules
Post by: hifimad on November 27, 2020, 01:57:43 AM
last Saturday afternoon i went to tesco on Sheffield Road i exited the lift and as i was walking towards the aisles i saw an area in front of me with a tesco trolly collecting for foodbanks as i made to go round it a member of staff who was not wearing a mask walked straight towards me, he placed himself right in front of me maskless and in my personal space just to tell me he was collecting for foodbanks, it is hard to see how we will ever get out of tier three restrictions with morons like this around.

It's the same with the buses.....over the past few weeks I've only seen ONE of the drivers on my route wearing a mask. Every time I get on a bus there's always the driver plus at least one passenger on without a mask even though, on the bus windscreens, it CLEARLY says
"compulsory wearing of masks on buses"

If certain people won't adhere to the rules, either because they don't think it applies to them or they are just too pig headed, then they should be refused boarding, and the drivers could help by setting an example.

I must say i hate wearing the damn mask after you have had it on for a short while it fills up with the moisture from your breath and you end up being waterboarded by your own mask, however this is for your own and other peoples safety so it is only common sense to wear it, me personally i prefer the minor inconvenience to one day waking up dead.  ;)

Seriously though I have encountered issues with Tesco staff at times, the social distancing needs explaining to them again.
