Title: Cold
Post by: Old Cruser on January 07, 2026, 11:55:45 AM
It's been freezing hasn't it! I can't stand it so cold.
My asthma doesn't like it cold but neither does it like it too warm with central heating so I can't win.
We've had daughter and her kitten here since NYE because of the pending snow which hopefully now looks as if it won't come here. Were down for sleet instead fingers crossed.
A better day today thank goodness!!
Happy New Year!

Reports of a foot of snow predicted in the Peaks and possibly lower.

Daughters hoping to fly out on hols Sunday morning {Heathrow} fingers crossed.

Me and the wife have settled in, will probably surface mid way through next week.

I'm watching the meteorologists reports.
It's looking likely at the lowest end we have a cold spell on the way but this could evolve to snow.
Nothing is set in stone as yet and it's always iffy but they are all singing from the same sheet at the moment.
I've noticed some local Derbyshire papers have jumped onto this but I don't generally take much notice of the newspapers.
