We can self refer to physio Therapy - Since last June I've struggled to walk/ getting up and down stairs was painful.
Having had Sciatica for several years I just put it down to that - but - it went on for months.
A friend sent me a link to self refer to physio which I did.
I had a choice of dates, times and places. I chose Clay Cross hospital.
Marvellous result TBH.
I've attended twice to see physios - it turned out to be my right hip! Both times was given exercises Nothing too difficult which I've been doing.
The difference is brilliant and I actually walked across Chesterfield when we went in the other day. No pain. No limp.
I've got three months now and can refer myself for an open appointment to see the way forward.
More exercises, Xray, or discharge.
It's well worth going if anyone is struggling. (y)
If anyone wants the link just shout up. (y)
