Running Windows Vista Home Premium on my laptop, how easy/beneficial is it to upgrade to Windows 7? How expensive (cheap!! ;D) is it to buy?
Bear in mind my technical ability goes as far as clicking 'OK' when it says 'installation completed successfully, press ok to continue'!! ??? 8)

How could I not read a thread with that title...
Anyway, all I'll say is go for it mate, I'm impressed with your bravery and courage. ;)

I'd personally say don't bother.
Is your current system up to spec to run a higher OS (Operating System) ?

Just run the check on my lappy.
I'd need new updated wifi drivers, and new updated DVD burning software updates.
But overall, after using my mum's Win7 lappy, I'd sooner stick with my Vista, (Home Basic)

Microsoft also dropped Outlook Express in Win7.
Though you could sign up for a Windows Live Email account and use that.
Just let Microsoft share all your info instead of Google 8) LOL
