Title: JustTyres, Boythorpe.
Post by: Fly on March 15, 2012, 06:04:02 PM
Credit where credit is due. Top marks.  :)
Had two tyres fitted to my car, (not taxi). Excellent service.

I only wanted a couple of new budget tyres fitted. I don't do many miles in my own car.
Tried all the main online retailers around Chesterfield, Quick Fit. ATS etc
£40-£60 each, some wanted even more for fitting  :o

Ordered two online from here. http://www.justtyres.com/ (http://www.justtyres.com/) £62 quid, fitted, new valves and balanced.
I turned up 1/2 hour early, expecting to have to wait.
The centre manager dragged a trolley jack into the carpark and got on with the job there and then.

Well worth consideration if your after tyres  :)

Good to know - although I had heard reports of them 'over selling', eg go in for two tyres come out with four!

Personally I always use Courier Tyres (mobile) - he is an ex-ATS tyre fitter gone solo, and I have never managed to get tyres cheaper than from him  ;)

He asked me what was the state of my spare tyre, after he'd fitted the back two,
the front two look a bit ish as well.
Spare is a brand new bloody tyre.

I could have put one of the ish front ones in the boot as a spare, and saved myself £30. AAgghh  :o
'f'in idiot  ::)

Good to know there's other tyre services available around town though.

I tried them recently, couple of front tyres £100. Saved me 50p parking for a meeting at the leisure Centre.

Ah, Coopers  >:(
Still remember having 2 tyres fitted there on a Rover 213s I used to own, 1994/5 I think.

Took it for it's MOT and it failed on 2 crushed sills.
The pillocks at Coopers hadn't used the jacking points.
Then later denied any responsibility  :-X

I think ill look at them next time.

The cheapest price ive ever found tyres for our car was about £65 each.  We do quite a lot of miles so i dont mind paying a little more for higher quality that last longer.

I'll second what Fly said.

I went to Just Tyres today.
They were professional and friendly but most of all quick. I was in a rush so challenged them to get everything done by quarter past and they were done by 10 past, In the past, I found Quick fit anything but Quick.
Had 2 new tyres, the 4 swapped round, tracking, etc all for £250.00 and about 45 minutes.
Usually costs that for budget tyres, and no tracking, these are decent Michelin tyres, so I was pleased with them.
