Title: Just Giving, Charity website ?
Post by: Fly on April 01, 2012, 08:53:40 PM
After my mothers husband passed away last year  :'(
On our 2nd wedding anniversary by coincidence,
we were in Torremolinos at the time  :(

His daughter started a 'Just Giving' account in his memory for the British Heart Foundation.

Apparently this page will be closed on 28/08/2016  :o
Does this mean that 'Just Giving' take a small donation of the funds after 2016.
Then pass the rest to the charity. Or earn interest on the funds currently held until 2016.

Their 'What it costs' web page.

It doesn't state they keep your money for 5 years before passing it on  ::)
Is it just me  :-\
