Spam, and who sends it !!
« on: November 29, 2012, 08:50:15 PM »
I signed up for a Tesco credit card a couple of years ago.
I used the email address tesco at taximania dot co dot uk

I 'own' the email address 'at taximania dot co dot uk'
If you email me at, thedogsnuts at taximania dot co dot uk, I'll receive it  :P

So today I get this email.

Subjest: Benefit!!

Message: Good day, I am interested in discussing a viable business with you directly and I would appreciate a response to this message.I cannot divulge more information until I am certain you go this,as I can assure you it would be to our mutual benefit Thanks.Contact me for details.

from yipj67 @ chinamail.com

Now here's the 'spam' element of my post. I've never used the email tesco@ for anything else.
So is it pure coincidence that yipj67 stumbled upon it by accident and decided to spam me.

Or, as I fear, small print from Tesco, we may share your details with other companies.
Too right, even Tesco can't keep some details private, pass them onto someone,
they pass them onto someone,
they pass them onto someone.

Rant over, and nowt I can do, cos it was in the Tesco small print probably.
