I am hoping 2013 to be a better year - but not holding my breath on that one my life is one long ongoing challenge.
Still we had a laugh New Years day (we spent two nights at my daughters)
She has a kitten, who decided to bring a present for her - a Finch, he laid it carefully at her feet
. I rushed forward to pick him up whilst hubby picked up the Finch - he thought it was dead, relaxed his grip and it began flying around the lounge
It landed down the side of her pc desk whilst the cat broke free from me and shot after it. only he was to big to get down the side so I dragged him back out lifted him up and put him out side.
On my return hubby had collected to Finch and guess what --- it flying round the flipping kitchen
don't ask!!
He managed to get it and took it outside hiding it under the bushes (there is what used to be an orchard at the back of her pad - so lots of trees, bushes and long grass)
I was out of breath by the time we had finished.
Jan 2nd we returned home after cleaning through her pad and I brought all her washing up to mine. Not had chance to unload the car when she rang - the Cat had taken another bird in
Off we went to find this one dead
and a good vacuuming was needed )
