they went out thursday gert and sucked the shops dry! MIL went for her shop firstly thurs afternoon but went home, she went back in the evening and the shelves were bare!

Yes I think they did Emmz. We called in on Thursday afternoon to collect something I ordered on line for my daughter and people were running in and out like little ants  :)

Lol can just see that now! But as said on friday it was quiet and plenty of stuff left...
School closed today along with the rest of chesterfield i think

I had actually cleared the path an hour earlier, and it's still coming down now  ::)

@ Fly birds are eating us out of food we have for them, may get the car out tomorrow and buy some more.
I must say although it's not as bad as the other year DCC have at least cleared the main road through our village as much as possible, not easy with cars parked on the road side is it.

We put him in the kitchen as it's the coldest room in the house... Don't want him getting used to being warm  :))
