Cold Callers around

Just wanted to alert others to the fact that their are cold callers around - one of my friends were conned last night out of £250.00. both pensioners. Handed over the money as was told the 'man' was going out there and then to do this job - well he did a runner.
Daft to hand over cash like that you will say - yes but at 70 and 80 years old people are not as aware as a younger person might be.
Please tell your vulnerable friends and relatives these thieves are around and not to let them into there homes.
