Little shop near the Railway Station
« on: March 05, 2015, 04:06:56 PM »
Does anyone remember the small kiosk/shop, which used to be on the way down to the station?
I read something in the D.T. which jogged my memory about this.
Have to admit I had forgotten it was there.

This one on the right hand side? Next door (with Union Jack) was Steptoes Parlor I think.

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Thanks Pete, good find.
Any idea when it closed as I seem to have memories of buying sweets there for my youngest brother as we headed to the railway station.

Probably went when the bypass was built.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.
