Passports
« on: September 02, 2014, 08:09:25 PM »
We have heard about the problem with delays of passports being returned.
We are taking daughter with us on our next years cruise for her 40th and her passport needed renewing.

We took it into the Post Office in Chesterfield last Tuesday and paid for the check and send.

It came back today renewed  :) - Done and dusted in one week.

Looks like they have caught up with the back log  ;)

Can't believe some people leave it so late before applying. Then blame someone else. eg Gov.
Yes we know most Govs are useless, but come on, a bit of common sense !!

I'm using the trem Gov, as any Gov, there all as bad as each other.  (y)

I know of  a couple of had to give up the chance of cheap holidays at short notice (on holiday with friends' families) due to having no hope of getting passports in time

@ slacker - obviously very short notice for booking as daughters took just 7 days, it's just not worth taking a chance though is it.
