Share your Christmas Photographs
« on: December 06, 2015, 07:57:14 PM »
I'm sure there will be more than me who is out and about and see some lovely Christmas Decs or festivities.
So I'll start it off with our village Christmas Market where I helped my daughter with a stall inside the village hall.

The events committee certainly put some thought and effort into it and it was a lovely afternoon.

Children took to the stage individually and sang Christmas songs whilst the Market was in progress - no photo's for obvious reasons.

We were also entertained by a ladies choir - it really was a treat.

Out side there was the Toy Town Express ride for the kiddies.

At 5.00pm there was a walk with Lanterns unfortunately the photographs didn't turn out too well.

This was followed by congregational singing of hymns before the switching on of the tree in the village community garden.
As a ps to those responsible - now known as the pea Brains - you did NOT spoil the switching on of the lights when you dismantled the lights off the tree the night before switch on!

Again not a brilliant photo - camera bog standard - and dark out side!!

Once the tree was lit we were treated to a lovely firework display paid for by our local Chippy owner  (y)

Also lights lit up the side of the chippy

Also a resident of the village gave a lovely display and the children were in awe

The Casa Hotel - these were really effective, set high and view able from the first floor landing.

We went with friends last night, 3 course Christmas Meal, Entertainment from a Comedian Lee Lord who is a Peter Kay Tribute act - very good.
Disco after.
For £35.00 per head we thought it really good value.

Down stairs in the lobby.

Santa's procession around our village today.
Everyone who took part in this parade did so voluntary
So a Big Thank You All.
The Children loved it!

Looks like the Reindeer is humping the Tractor  ::)

The last one of our old cat who obviously has some kitten still inside of him ( somewhere )

He decided he had had enough of this 'Putting the Decs up malarky' and plonked himself inside the bag with all the Tinsel in!
He had that 'Move me if you dare' look in his eyes --- mmm so yep we left him there  :))
