Recommend a good area to live ?
« on: January 12, 2016, 02:09:25 PM »
Seriously thinking of moving off Arbrourthorne and leaving Sheffield all together . Ideally crackhead free and low crime if possible. Would need a good school for my daughter also good access links so my partner can still get to Sheffield for her job and mine?

Can't fault you for your thoughts there WCT. Can't be nice living living in an environment in which you feel unsafe. Good Luck with your search (y)

Brampton?

In the catchment area for Brookfield School which is good and you can go out the back way to Sheffield going out towards Baslow, Owler Bar and down Abbeydale Rd to the centre.

It will have to be a rented property either private or council . Ideally near a school we have a car would be nice to have a garage but not end all if not. The area we live at now okish but got problems things like finding used needles in the garden not great when you have kids. We seldom go out at night too risky .

Sign up for updates with Rightmove They may have something you like.
Of course there's always Newbold where you used to live.

The short listed so far: Whittington Moor - heard mixed view points . Brimington a may be,  Barnsley -my partner is from their originally and her mum and dad still live their. As for Newbold no a while back   I took my partner for a look round the village it wasn't live at first sight for her so no chance in going back.
