Overhearing a conversation between two men the other day, one asked "What do you do for a living?" the other guy says "I tend the alcoholics the down and outs, compulsive gamblers and general misfits".
"Blimey are you a social worker then?" asked the first......

"No" he replied "I wait tables in Wetherspoons"
