People ranting who don't know the facts.

Ashgate Hospice are organising the Midnight Walk tonight.
Someone has posted 'in another place' a rumour that one part of the organisation is poor.

So if any organisers are out there that's why a couple of them that did it last year are not doing it this year..."

Someone else has then jumped on the bandwagon and clearly without knowing the truth has passed the comment "Not good enough! When people go out of their way to do something good then organisers should make sure everything goes to plan"

Just to set the record straight
1 Emily and Alison from the Hospice do a fantastic job in organising the event.
2 The event starts and finished in Dronfield. Transport wouldn't be waiting in Dronfield, It would be waiting at the hospice to take people back to Dronfield if they only want to do half the walk.
3. The transport DID exist it went past me on Dunston Lane about 3 in the morning!!!!

Why do people post garbage which might affect this very worthy cause? And why do other people who obviously have not the first clue what is going on feel the urge to put their 2 penneth in?

Having been part of the team that set up the finish line for the, 'Race For Life', last weekend.
I find those posts quite offensive

Perhaps the starter of said slur will turn up tonight Jon and appologise.

Unless I was seeing things (and having lost a nights sleep its possible!!) a double decker bus full of walkers came past me this morning around 3ish again.
Afraid the ladies (not to mention the marshalls) got extremely wet but it didn't dampen spirits too much!!
