Went to see Arizona last night at the official opening of Real Time Music's new Marsden Street gig. The room and bar are excellent, plenty of bar staff, so no waiting to get served. The band were not to my taste, a bit too AC/DC.
We watched the first set and then wandered round to the County for one and the band playing there was called the Carnival and they were the best band I have seen in the last 10 years! The guitarist was beyond brilliant and very entertaining too. Must admit I smiled at the end of the evening when one of the Arizona guitarist also came in to see them.
If you like live music - go and see the Carnival. Exceptional!
