Brockstock & 2 Smokin' Badgers Music Fest - Bank holiday Monday 27th August

My friends and cohorts who I helped last year with a music festival at Unstone Golf Club, are staging a smaller one this year at The Badger on Brockwell Lane, Monday 27th August from 1pm till late.

Jim Palfreyman and Kev Bloom put so much work and effort into getting these events together so please, if you can, come and give them your support and join us for a great day

could be, as i noticed when i went past today that all the picnic benches had gone from outside .

The gig has been moved to the Royal Oak 43 Chatsworth Rd, S40 2AH Chesterfield - same day, Monday 27th.

I have no details why yet.

Sorry I couldn't get back to post about this before.  I've read the threads and Pete's correct, it's moved to The Royal Oak and some bands will be there tomorrow.

Enterprise Inns seemingly own The Badger and they have a reputation for some cut throat type dealings with their managers, inflating their rents for example.  I understand this is one of the reasons for the closure.

Anyway, enough of that......I'll try my best to get along tomorrow.  Hope it stays fine

Got a bit confused by brockstock now being Oakstock Day 2.Moved inside which is a shame but music still good. Could get a bit packed though. Anyone else coming?
