Man who shot three women held gun licence
« on: January 02, 2012, 02:12:57 PM »
In view of the news that a man had shot and killed three women and then himself - and held a valid firearms licence - and had 3 shotguns and 3 "section 1" firearms, according to police - shouldn't we clamp down on the number of gun owners?

I'm sure that their must be reasons other than these types of men have small dicks, but I can't think of any...

Knives kill more people each year than guns and are far more readily available (You can't buy a gun in Sainsburys!!!)
The majority of murders caused by firearms are not via those held by licenced people

The bottom line is if someone flips and decides to kill himself and members of his family he's going to find the weapon to do it.

Then why can't we all have guns?

we can, as long as there is no good reason not to give us a licence!!!

It amazes me that whenever there is a massacre in USA nobody blames the fact that any nutter can buy a gun

It's the American way.
Independance etc.
When it was all cowboy and Indians.
You'll understand the scenario, we are allowed a gun to blow these Indians away.
It's their land, we want it. Bang. Bye bye Indian.
My land now  ;D

I think it was the case that the guy who shot Congresswoman Giffords was too nutty to be allowed to plead to the charges days after the crime, but was judged perfectly sane* when buying the gun that he did it with, only days before.

*By who? I don't know - the store owner that sold the thing, I suppose. I think they're not allowed to sell guns to people who appear to be nut-jobs.
