Staveley to Host Armed Forces Event Saturday 12 / Sunday 13 July
A fabulous family day out will this see various departments, the OPCC and the local Safer Neighbourhood Team showcasing their work at the Staveley Armed Forces Event at Poolsbrook Country Park.
The weekend includes a full programme of activities, (please see the attached flyer) and includes a service and memorial parade from Staveley Market Place. Among the attractions will be roads policing officers, uniform task force officers, OzBox and the Prevent team. Safer Neighbourhood officers and police staff are also attending and providing information on policing in Derbyshire.
Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner Alan Charles and his deputy, Hardyal Dhindsa will be attending over the weekend and their staff will be present to engage with the public and complete surveys as part of the on-going Over to You programme.
