TV comedy shows
« on: March 15, 2015, 04:30:09 PM »
Do others enjoy watching the old style comedy shows as we do.

I record some of the oldies to watch when I want a 'light half hour'
Hi Di Hi, Bread, Birds of a Feather, Keeping up Appearances, As Time Goes By etc etc.
Mr O C loves Last of the Summer Wine and Dads Army.

Somehow I just can't seem to enjoy most of the new comedies which are running these days.

Am I on my own with this?

I've seen so many of those so many times I can't watch them any more.

These days I prefer standup comics most, Eddie Izzard was my fave until recently.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

No, the current Wife has full control of the TV, & watches the same sort of stuff, Fresh Fields,French Fields, anything Agatha Christie, Poirot, etc.I swear I will take the Sky remote with me to work one day......

You should get that looked at - it's not right - tear ducts are a long way from your legs!
