Wheeldon Lane and the Dog Kennels
« on: May 14, 2015, 01:40:38 PM »
The area of the Dog Kennels ran from Wheeldon Lane to South Place - here are some pictures. The Ragged School, one of the few surviving buildings from those days was on Wheeldon Lane.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

If you were to have walked up Wheeldon Lane to the Market Hall you would start by the Ragged School (you can still see a little of the road next to the school) and walked north until you saw this scene where the Market Hall can be seen through the archway onto Low Pavement by the Crown and Cushion.

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.
