Hubby shouted me to go to the bird feeder at the top of the garden a young Starling ( not too small ) had somehow got into the top of one of the feeders ( not sure if hubby had left the lid up ??).
Anyway it was stuck with it's head on it's back!!
What a racket it kicked up when we tried to move it out!
Flash came out of the house licking his lips so we shut him in the back garden and moved to the front garden.
Anyway, I ended up cutting the plastic tube in half to get the tube and bird out of the metal cage.
This freed the bird which was able to escape loudly squawking as it flew off.
Our good deed for the day.
