Just seen this on facebook.

Come to the oak and meet your new landylady and landlord...Gini and Colin...lots planned...quiz night coming back, bikers night on wednesday, darts and skittles watch this space!!! This saturday...Jono on karaoke and disco!!!! If anyone knows of a washing machine for sale give us a shout!! :)

Thanks for your comments, yes 'times is 'ard' in the pub trade and it wasn't financially viable for the two of them (five if you count the cats!!). They were putting the hours in and, by the time they'd paid staff, it was less than the minimum wage!  :(

Jayne now works at a local doctors surgery and also does admin work for a town centre bar, whilst Gary starts work at the Golden Fleece in town today.

Happy days (well hopefully so!)  ;)

BTW - we are once again hoping to enjoy our retirement! Although we will miss it as we met some very nice people (eh Pam?!)  ;D
