PS Why is Sainsbury's home brand cheap lager 11p dearer than Tesco ??

PPS Henri knows he was wrong IMHO.
He was given a job he handled wrongly. Not a pull down on him.

ps haven't got a clue but probably it has a higher alcohol content and a better flavour.

It's why we only do brand match on branded goods that can be equally compared.
For example you might come on here and ask me why a tin of own branded stewing steak is cheaper in another store.
My response would be check the %age meat content!
Why are Asda's fruit and Veg cheaper than ours?
Because ours is all class 1 where as theirs is class 2, isn't the same quality and won't last as long.
We threw a load of bananas away yesterday as we deemed them of insufficient quality to sell. They were probably still better than Asda.
But they can claim to be cheaper.
If you really want to here something apalling ask me about Morrisons Chickens.
